Energy Billing System
The intuitive Energy Billing System software introduced by ICD enables automatic calculation of electrical energy consumption and billing of occupants. The main software modules of EBS are Configuration, Configuration report, Online and Billing. Key features of EBS are

The administrator & engineers are provided meter configuration access for viewing meter configuration details configure the individual energy meters using in this module. Tag number and meter name are details to be provided for this configuration.
Tag numbers refer to energy meters connected in the intelligent data equipment. Meter name refers to the feeder name in this module along with the status of the meter. Status of the meter indicates whether it is available or not for the software and online billing.
Various meter types are LDB (lighting), UDB, Lobby AHU, office AHU, and Server AHU. Based on the type of meter, calculations are made during billing.
The CT ratio indicates the feeder capacity. This value is used for cross checking the meter programming time.
In case of mechanical type meters, the reading shown in the meter reading is multiplied by this factor in billing time.
Meter is commissioned in whichever block you configure it. Online data shown corresponds to separate blocks.
Floor-wise meter configuration based on the floor in which meter is physically available.
Users can enter any relevant information for every meter in the remarks column. This information can be saved in the database.
This configuration is divided into four components: View Occupants, Add New Occupants, Modify Occupants, and Delete Occupants. Administrators alone are given Add, Modify, and Delete options, while Engineers and Users are given View access alone.
Users can view configured occupants and select the block to view information. Each occupant is given a unique ID of alphanumeric characters. Users need to choose the Occupant ID to view occupant information.
Add New Occupants
Administrators are given Add new occupants access. Information like Block, Occupant ID, Conduct Person, Area, Module, Phone Number, Fax number etc. can be configured by the administrator with this option. Once information has been added, save option must be exercised to save information to the database.
Administrators and engineers are given access to modify occupant details. Occupant information is modified by entering the occupant ID. The modified information needs to be saved after entering data. “Back” option may be chosen if the entered information need not be saved.
Occupants can be deleted from the database by Administrators or Engineers by entering the corresponding occupant ID. The software issues a prompt for confirmation of delete, clicking on “Yes” deletes the occupant permanently from the database
Meter Group Configuration
Energy Meters can be grouped using this option. Meter grouping can only be done by Administrators and Engineers based on Occupant ID. One meter can be configured in more than one group. Only meter grouping details are visible to Users. Meter grouping can be done based on Occupant selection, meter selection and meter grouping. Meters can be added to a group through the Add option and deleted from a group using the “delete’ option. In case you want to share the reading from 2 or more meters, you can use the ‘Share add’ option. Such meters will be shown in the Shared meter box. By default, readings go to Avg All option.
This configuration allows Create, Modify, and delete users options for those authorized to use EBS software. The security levels under this configuration are: administrator, engineer and user. Only administrators can do User Configuration. Users and engineers can view User Configuration and change their password. Engineers can view and create bills, while users can only view created bills.
This option allows the creation of new users by selecting user type and entering user name. Password can be created for the new user. User access can be enabled or disabled by clicking view User option.
User details can be modified through this option. Only the user type and status can be modified.
This option enables deletion of the user permanently from the database.
User password can be modified by entering the old password and then typing the new password.
View User Details
Allows viewing of user details.
